Hoppers – The double vertical hoppers are modular in design and use either vacuum or high or low folio to handle the signatures. The double hoppers are easy to engage and disengage and to switch between high and low folio lip mode. It takes little time to adjust them to accommodate a different format. The signatures are stacked in an upright position with the spine pointing down at an operator-friendly, ergonomically optimized height.
Volume loading – The Stitchmaster ST 90 lets you load considerably greater volumes, so the hopper bins don’t need to be replenished as often, making the whole process more efficient.
Reduced marking – Marking is virtually eliminated because the sheets are upright instead of lying flat on top of one another in a pile.
Stitcher – A side caliper measures each booklet’s thickness. Signature length inspector and staple monitoring stitch controls are integrated. The stitcher is equipped with two stitching heads for standard 14 mm staples.
Trimmer – The trimmer excels due to its stable design. Products are trimmed while perfectly still, which prevents marking. First, the front edge is trimmed, then the head and foot. This approach results in a superior final product, especially with two-ups. |
