Eurobind 600

The Eurobind 600 brings you professional adhesive binding of individual sheets and signatures with editions up to 2,500 copies. It’s a single-clamp perfect binder offering fast format changes and a short makeready.

Standard accessories – The Eurobind 600 series includes accessories like control of the gluing length for the book spine, driven side gluing disks, and a vacuum cover feeder with integrated double scoring unit and conveyor delivery.

Central control console – The Eurobind 600 is operated from an ergonomic central control touch screen. In addition to controls for the machine functions, it integrates a preheating timer for the glue tank and a production counter.

Clamps – The pneumatic clamps permit binding lengths from 4.72 to 17.32 inches. Clamp opening is automatically adjusted depending on the data entered on the touch screen.

Hotmelt glue tank – Adhesive is applied to the spine by two form rollers with controllable gluing length and to the sides by driven gluing disks for consistently excellent results.

Heidelberg has designed the volumetric PUR application system using the latest nozzle technology to apply the glue to the book spine. This system guarantees a reproducible glue amount on the spine from book to book.PUR is suitable for applications that use fuser oils in the printing of digital paper. PUR’s benefits are well documented: book integrity, strength, flexibility to lay flat, high tolerance to temperature extremes, bonding to difficult surfaces such as coatings or plastics, and virtually immunity to ink migration headaches.

Vacuum cover feeder – The vacuum feeder with integrated double scoring unit is easy to set. Adjustments are made precisely and conveniently the touch screen. Cover press – The Eurobind 600 has a self-regulating automatic cover press for blocks 0.08 to 1.97 inches thick.
